The Operators

ABOUT
SCORIAN

The name says it plainly: Scorian is Scott and Rian. Two operators who saw what enterprise aerial technology could do for prairie industries and built the infrastructure to deliver it.

The Company

One Company,
Two Clear Missions

Scorian Inc was built around a simple observation: the same enterprise-grade drone technology that changes search and rescue operations also transforms how prairie producers understand their land. The hardware overlaps. The discipline required to fly it does not.

Scott and Rian pursued Advanced RPAS certification, the highest standard visual line-of-sight tier, before building the company. The certification came first. The business followed the credential, not the other way around.

The company name reflects how it was built. Sco from Scott, rian from Rian. Two operators, one standard. Every flight is run by a certified pilot, not handed off to a call centre or a contractor who has never seen your land.

Two divisions allow Scorian to serve agricultural clients during the growing season and support SAR and emergency response teams year-round without compromising either operation. Different clients, different requirements, same standard of execution.

Why Two Divisions

Separate Missions. Same Standard.

Ag Division

Agricultural mapping follows the growing calendar: seeding assessments in spring, crop monitoring through the season, post-harvest field surveys. The work is systematic, data-focused, and tied to farm decision timelines.

The DJI M4E is the right tool: built for precision mapping, RTK accuracy, and the large-area coverage that quarter-section and full-section fields demand.

Rescue Division

SAR and emergency response does not follow a calendar. The work is reactive, high-stakes, and time-critical. The equipment and operators need to be ready to deploy into difficult conditions without notice.

The DJI M400 is the right tool: IP55 rated, 59-minute endurance, thermal capable, and built to fly when other platforms are grounded.
